TastyKake Kandy Bar Kakes

Today I received a sample of Tasty Kake's Smores Kandy Bar Kake in my Influenster Spring VoxBox. Before now I had never heard of Tasty Kake so I obtained company background information from their website:www.tastykake.com
The Tasty Baking Company was  founded in 1914. It is located in Philadelphia, Pa. and is one of the country’s leading baking companies. It is a branch of Flowers Foods ( which has a bakery near my town ). Tastykake offers more than 100 varieties of delicious cakes, pies, cookies and donuts. Tastykake takes pride in offering fresh quality baked goods. The Tastykake line includes such classics as Krimpets, Kandy Kakes, Juniors, and Kreamies.

I want to first discuss the packaging of Tastykake Smores Kandy Bar Kake. I really love how Tastykake used an old fashioned look for their packaging. The tan and brown colors make me think of fresh wholesome ingredients. There is also an eye catching picture of the kandy bar kake on the front of the packaging. I do appreciate the Nutrition Facts being in large print on the side of the package.
Upon opening the package you smell the mouth watering aroma of the Hershey's chocolate. You slide a full 2.1 oz candy bar shaped kake from the package. It is a chocolate kake layered with a delicious creme filling and marshmallow flavor. It is topped with I believe a graham cracker crumble. It retails for $4.49 per box which includes 5 kakes or $1.69 per single kake when purchasing seperately.
I enjoyed my Smores kake SO much. It was so mouthwateringly yummy. The smell was so luring. It had a light fluffy creme filling that was divine. It has left me CRAVING more! I am so thrilled to know that my local General Dollar Store is a retailer of Tastykake goodies. I have now added Tastykake Smores Kandy Bar Kakes to my shopping list. I can't wait to indulge in more. YUM:p

May 2013 Ipsy Spring Fling Glam Bag

Today I received my May 2013 Ipsy Glam Bag. I am always so excited to see the gorgeous fuchsia metallic package. Inside included the following products:
-Juice Beauty Organic lipgloss in Pink
     -NuMe Finishing Serum
-Zoya nail polish in Gie Gie
-St. Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion
-Yaby concealer in the color Buff
and a beautiful teal and orange  Chevron print bag.
I will first begin discussing the Juice Beauty Organic lipgloss in Pink. The color is more of a mauvy tone. It has a nice, thin consistency. It applies really well. It is a very pretty color. The only complaint I have is the taste. It tastes like some kind of organic oil. I cannot think of what it reminds me of but it is sort of medicinal.
The next product I would like to discuss is my FAVORITE. The NuMe Finishing Serum. I adore the beautiful little blue bottle. It smells so nice. It made my severely damaged blonde hair feel soft and shiny. A true MIRACLE product.
My favorite runner up product is the Zoya nail polish in Gie Gie. It is a cute cotton candy pink color with fine silver glitter sparkles. It applies easily with no streaks. I applied one coat in the pic below. Please excuse my unmanicured nails:(
As you can see-it is GORGEOUS. It has a beautiful pearl frost finish.
The next product I want to mention is the St. Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion. I am a sucker for metallic packaging. I love it! I have not yet tried this product. I will update my post as soon as I use it to give you my review.

UPDATE: I tried the St. Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion yesterday. It did not have the really bad smell that most self tanners have. It was easy to apply. It gave my skin a nice glow. I love the fact that it washes off easily with soap and water so if you make a mistake you can simply wash it off. It's perfect for when you want a quick glowing tan.
My final Glam Bag product to discuss is the Yaby concealer in the color Buff. I think it is a nice sample size product that I can place in my GlamRx mini palette. The color suited my skintone perfectly. I am so impressed by this product's performance. It melts onto skin easily and smoothly. It covers my purple under eye circles completely. It lasts all day without looking cakey or settling into my fine lines. It has been a rival with my MAC ProLongwear Concealer.

Overall this has been my FAVORITE Ipsy Glam Bag thus far. I am beyond pleased with the products that I have used. Ipsy is a wonderful monthly beauty subscription service. I have never been disappointed in my Glam Bags. Thanks Ipsy;) If you are interested in subscribing to Ipsy simply click on the following link: www.Ipsy.com
